Connie Price and the Keystones are a musical group from Los Angeles, California who throw in elements of '60's and '70's film scores, Jamaican production aesthetics, African and Brazilian overtones, psychedelia, hip-hop and a whole bunch of soul. Though the name connotes a female lead, Connie (Constantine to be exact) Price and The Keystones is in fact a project helmed by 6'4" guitarist/multi-instrumentalist Dan Ubick (former guitarist for Breakestra, Myron & E, Hollie Cook and De La Soul).

"El Niño" was inspired by all the funky late 60's/early 70's soundtracks I love... folks like Isaac Hayes, Willie Hutch and Dennis Coffey. Jake is absolutely tearing the drum kit apart while Ethan holds it all down with his no-nonsense bass riff. All my favorite ingredients... Fuzz guitar, funky flute courtesy of James King, nasty horn hits. Hope all our listeners enjoy it as much as I did making it with the guys." - Dan Ubick
